FIGHT AGAINST CORONA:

The corona epidemic has severely affected the residents of Bengaluru. Many of them have lost more than one loved one in the family. The administration has been caught unawares by the sheer magnitude of the spread and there has been a severe shortfall of essential infrastructure like beds in hospitals,ventilators, Oxygen and essential medicines. Even alarming is the fact that the crematoriums are also full. The administration is doing there best but it seems to be not enough. The people are not cooperating and they seem to be careless.

Due to constant crisis caused by the pandemic, the management has decided to throw their might in controlling the spread and also in providing essential service to the extent possible.

Accordingly Corona Vaccination camp was organised on 18th April 2021 and a corona testing centre is functioning from 27th in the temple premises.

A campign was also launched for corona awareness by enganing a vehicle and announcing about the protocols to be followed.

Accordingly the second corona vaccination camp was organised on 30th APRIL 2021. IN SPITE OF SHORTAGE OF THE VACCINE, LOCAL BBMP OFFICIALS WORKED ROUND THE CLOCK TO ARRANGE 210 DOSES OF VACCINE AND THE SAME WAS USED TO VACCINATE THE CITIZENS.

There was good response from the general public and many of them opined that they never expected the temple to be in the forefront in the fight against epidemic.

The Third Drive of Covid-19 Vaccination was held on 09.05.2021 and will be a continuous feature more than 131 citizens availed the facility of Vaccination. It will be regularly continuing in the Temple premises.

THE ROAD AHEAD

THERE HAS BEEN SEVERE STRAIN ON THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE HOSPITALS. THE INFECTED PEOPLE REQUIRING CARE IS FAR AHEAD OF THE BEDS BEING AVAILABLE.

Our committee has decided to step in to provide oxygen concentrators to needy patients till they get admitted to hospitals to save their lives. Accordingly we have decide to procure some 30 oxygen concentrators to start with and give to the patients who can use it in their home till they get a bed in hospital.

This way valuable lives can be saved and the hospital staff is also saved the extra pressure. The following machine has been identified and orders has been placed.

The committee members earnestly pray all and sundry to contribute their might in providing succor to the patients and to help their country in need.All cooperation is appreciate very mush and the full blessings of LORD RAMA will be available to the donors. Stand up and be counted at the time of need of the nation.

The activities of the temple has been favorably covered by the press also.

Sri.Suresh Kumar Hon.Minister for Secondary and Higher Education, visited the temple premises and saw oxy concentrator machines and Vaccination Campaign.

Total 2584 Citizens got Vaccinated till 24.05.2021 In the vaccination program undertaken by Sri Rama Seva Mandali and Rajajinagar Residents Welfare Association in association with BBMP ward 108 RajaJinagar.
