SRI RAMOTHSAVA – 2022

Celebration of Sri Ramanavami from 09.04.2022 (Saturday) to 19.04.2022 (Tuesday)

The Ramanavami celebration organized on 10.04.2022, Sunday by Sri Rama Seva Mandali (Sri Rama Mandira), Rajajinagar, Bangalore-10, was a grand success. The event was kick started on 9th April 2022 at 7 pm by performing Ankurarpanam and Dwajarohanam. On 10th, the function started at 4 am by performing ritual Abhishekam to Lord Sri Rama and the Uthsava Murthy in the chariot was also decorated very beautifully. The Suvarna Vajrangi Alankara for the Moola Rama Vigraha was looking resplendent, beautiful and divine.

After the Abhisheka was performed the decorated colourful Chariot was drawn on the main streets of Rajajinagar accompanied by Nagaswaram, Veeraghase, Dollu Kunitha, Pooja Kunitha, amidst chants of Veda Ghosha and Prabandam by Bhagavathas

The temple was very nicely decorated and was as if heaven had come to earth. More than 15000 devotees came to the temple to have darshan of Lord Sri Rama and other deities and the management had made arrangement for distribution of traditional prasada like panaka, kosambri and majjige. In addition to this Laddu prasada and avalakki was also distributed. In all the atmosphere in and around the temple resembled a fair It was the opinion of all devotees that Rajajinagar and Ramamandir had not seen such a grand scale function. All the arrangements worked like clockwork precision.

Our management is proud to have organised a program of such mammoth proportions and we thank each and every member of our team, our archaks, our temple kitchen staff, our watch and ward staff all our volunteers, our donors, professional performing artists, providers of electricity, sound, floral decorators, lighting system, Police and service providers like staff of BBMP, KEB,  design of banner pamphlet printing and each and everyone who either directly or indirectly contributed to the success of this program.

We thank all devotees for patronising our temple, catering contractors and performing artists and we are proud to be a part of history The comments and feedback from the devotees was satisfying. The devotional program was well covered by all important media houses.

Once again a heartfelt thank to each and everyone who were part of this satisfying spiritual program. We still have nine days to go and continue to solicit your support. We also thank the Management of East West Group of institutions for being a part of Rama Navami celebrations.
